Until recently, my garden has been taking a lot of my time and energy! Some of the trees died from the drought and half the grass turned brown. I have replaced most of the plants with drought tolerant succulents. These additions to my garden are anything but dull! They bloom abundantly and are insanely colorful! My recent works are influenced by this switch in landscape and my paintings are grouped as “Going Native”.
Now with the recent rains, I wonder if these succulents will die from too much water!
The hills are in full glory with green and mustard yellow. But for now, I will stay in love with my non-thirsty friends!
